Kings International Ballet Academy is passionate about training the next generation of Contemporary, Classical Dancers. We understand the necessity of secure, regular training of dancers from a young age.

King's Pre Vocational Associate Course runs on approximately three Saturdays of each month , 9 Saturdays in total, during the Academy's term time. The course is suitable for the serious Pre Vocational Student, who wishes to gain extra experience and strength, and who  ultimately wishes to audition vocationally. The course is open to students aged 10 years and above. 

 

The Kings International  Pre Vocational Associate Course provides intense, professional training in Classical Ballet, Pointe work ( where appropriate )and Contemporary Technique . However we also include Technical Jazz and with additional workshops where the students learn repertoire and are exposed to a variety of different dance genres. Students on the course will study under the umbrella of the ARBTA Russian style Syllabus, thus helping to prepare them for their future study both at Kings and Internationally. Students will participate in Kings International Ballet Academy's annual Showcase held in July .

Students will be streamed according to their Classical standard. 

The course is designed as a supplement to their current training, not as a replacement, and Kings prides itself on its close relationships with  all the student's teachers. No student is permitted to audition without the written consent of their current teacher. All classes are streamed by ability.

If you would like to be considered for our Pre Vocational Course 2022 - 2023 please complete and return the attached application form together with the required photographs and confirmation of payment of the  audition fee.  If you are successful at this stage you will be invited to attend an audition day - guidance as to the contents will be given to successful applicants.
